Vast is the Lord's field, and ready are the crops for harvest; but where are the other laborers?
Look among the nations, do you see the masses of people with immediate needs? The Lord hears their cry. Therefore go, and be the hands of the Lord. Be there to show them love and to give them care, and they will come to know the Lord and glorify Him.
He who truly loves the Lord works in His field with joy.

When Jesus saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered, as sheep having no shepherd. Then he said unto his disciples, "The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few; pray therefore to the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth laborers into his harvest." (Matthew 9:36-38)
Go your ways. Behold, I send you out as lambs among wolves. (Luke 10:3)
