The Rock You Sit Upon To Pray

In a corner at the place of your wilderness,
you set a rock to sit upon to pray.

But did you realize...
that you were creating an altar for the Lord?

As you sit upon that solid rock to pray,
did you realize you made yourself as a sacrifice?

Did you know that...
you were making a gesture of covenant to the Lord?

In your solitude, the Lord heard your every cry;
cries of repentance & forgiveness, justice & freedom.

Upon that rock, all the cries of your heart are
as sweet smelling oblation to the Lord.

Remain faithful of the covenant you made with the Lord,
and you will know His faithfulness.

Walk in His way with your renewed life,
and He shall restore the anointing through your seeds.

Just as you sit upon a solid rock as you pray,
so also upon a solid rock shall your seeds stand.

If your seeds will keep this covenant of righteousness,
one of them shall the Lord raise up to lead.
